OK guys I'm asking for just a little slack here, Joel if you want to challenge my boat skills against your computer skills we can test that at the next reunion.
Remember most of these old boats don't have no stinkin computers runnin them like the newer ones do, and I really like the way we did things years ago. Reminds me of a recent story.... My oldest son Steven is a Naval Architect & Marine Engineering student at UNO & was showing off his newly learned 3D CAD drafting skills on his laptop a couple months ago. I challenged him to draft the new A/S Accessory project I'm working on so I could use the drawings to create the plug (the finished shape of an object before a mold is cast) I furnished all the known dimensions & parameters needed, then I waited & waited....Having a break between jobs I decided start the project old school style, before long (2 weeks) the plug was complete & looks great, I sent Steven a pic of the completed plug & he asked how I did that I simply replied "I used my 1958 3D modeling program"
