2003 A/S Pro trailer
« on: July 23, 2014, 11:02:59 PM »
Looking to buy a 2003 American Skier Pro that does not have a trailer with it. Any ideas on where I can pick up a suitable trailer? I would buy the boat in a heartbeat if it had a trailer.

If you have the means to beg, or borrow, something for a few months I can provide a new 2015 model American Skier TBX trailer late Fall, early winter.

Ron,

I have a 2000 TBX and trailer so I could get the new baby home with the trailer I already own until I get one or build one myself. What would the approximate cost be? I was hoping to get one at a reasonable price to keep the whole package price at a smart level.

I love my 2000 TBX but I keep it at our lake house in north Texas and want a boat to keep here at our daily house here in Houston. I want to keep the road miles off of the boats. My 2000 TBX is pristine and I want to keep it that way! The 2003 TBX Pro I looked at is nice but it appears the trailer deal is kind of a pain. People want an arm and a  leg for used trailers and some of them are just junk!

Let me know more. Thanks for your help.

All new replacement trailers are built to order based on your budget and requests are.  I prefer not to duplicate the original trailers various shortcomings but improve from the original. Example, we used 14" wheels & tires, I prefer the capacity of the 15".  Trailer costs are directly linked to raw material usage. Here are a few examples
Low end                     High End
14" plain wheels/tires     15" custom alum. wheels

Continuation i was bumped off.
Low End                  High End
basic lighting                      LED lighting
basic winch                         Fulton F2 series winch
basic jack                           Fulton F2 series jack
no Brakes                           Disc brakes
arcrylic enamals                  urethane (Imron) type paint
