Ski Boat Restoration
« on: August 30, 2016, 02:08:18 PM »
Labor Day is right around the corner and unfortunately for many it is also time to start packing up the ski boat  :(  Here are a couple reminders:
Add fuel stabilizer in your fuel tank during the end of the season and before you put the boat up
Winterize your boat (believe it or not someone forgets to do this every year)
Remove the hull drain plug (s) when stored on the trailer (again boats can "sink" sitting on the trailer if rain water is allowed to get in)
(I just quoted a repair on a wakeboard boat that sunk on the trailer during our Louisiana Flood 2 weeks ago, the water went to the top of the gunnels, $37,000 estimate)

Anyone considering an off-season  total or partial ski boat restoration needs to call & make an appointment soon.
