Marine cleaner wax
« on: November 13, 2010, 02:30:05 PM »
Can't beat the stuff. I've used it to clean my shower, lots of other things.   Is it safe to use on automotive finishes?  I've done it before, just wondering if I should stop.

read the instructions / warnings on the bottle
if it's 3M light oxidation wax then I would guess NO unless in small areas only
most "cleaner wax" has a light cut rubbing compound in it
which may "fog up" the clear coat of an automotive finish
