1980 barefoot skier -

Just bought a 1980 skier - it is 18' - can anyone give a guestimate as to the weight??  Thanks

Awesome boat you have there. Let's see some pics!  I believe that the boat is 2200lbs.

2200 #s is a good number to use when new, they actually ran anywhere from 2100 - 2500# depending on options, there were a couple of big blocks sold for barefooter skiers which raised the weight. Also boats in general gain weight over time (moisture absorbtion) largely dependent on use & storage, I've seen hundreds of lbs. removed from saturated foam in older boats.

Thanks a lot - it only has 18 hours and has been in storage for sometime - moor checked out great - no outside storage ever
